# Using third-party launchers

## Fabric Loader with default Minecraft Launcher

If you wish to use the default Minecraft Launcher, you'll need to download the Fabric Client before proceeding.

Firstly, make sure Minecraft is closed before proceeding.

Head over to <https://fabricmc.net/use/installer/> and download the installer.

Once downloaded, open the installer file and with the client tab selected, select Minecraft Version 26.1.2 and Loader Version 0.19.3 and click "Install".

Once that is done, you can close the installer.

## Installing required mods

You'll first need to make sure that you are running Fabric 26.1.2 in order to proceed!

Here is a list of mods that you MUST have in order to connect to the server.

Download ALL of the following mods and place them in your mods folder in your .minecraft directory (Unless your launcher of choice has a mods manager built in, then proceed according to your launcher's requirements.)

To find your .minecraft directory, press WIN + R on your keyboard to open the Run window. Then paste in `%AppData%\.minecraft` then open the mods folder (if you don't see a mods folder, create a new folder called "mods", all lowercase).
